| Bio: | It all started at a hospital on a naval air base in North Carolina. Being ever timid, I stuck my feet out to check the atmosphere. The hospital staff, of course, did not like this approach and promptly sliced my mother open to snatch me out from her belly. After arriving home from the hospital my mother gave me my first bed. It was a suitcase, and she couldn't have picked it better. Being born into a military family (my father a proud Marine) we moved all over the place and I quickly went from living in a suitcase to living out of suitcases- so to speak. Within seven years of being ripped into this world I gained three younger brothers, a dog named Ben, and a cat named Kitty. Ben, who was a member of the family before I joined it, died of old age not long after the youngest was born. A few years later a young Golden Retriever named Jake joined our pack. Finaly, several years and a continent or so later it was time for my father to retire. He chose Georgia. I was not too happy with this as I had become used to the nomadic lifestyle the military had afforded. I vowed that once I graduated high school I would pick back up where I left off and continue moving and living a life of adventure. Somehow, in spite of my discontent, no matter how many times I leave I keep coming back to Georgia. I guess the bonds of family are too strong to break. After all, while everything else in my life changed they were the only constant. |
